This is Aside Manga News for June 18th, 2026.
Last Friday, June 12th, when Viz and Yen Press were having dueling manga license announcements, K Manga had one small announcement of their own.
As part of their recent expansion into social media, they have launched their own official Discord server. This Discord is open to the public to chat about their favorite K Manga series. Some of the Translators, Letterers, and other staff who worked on some manga titles on the service are also on the Discord.
Back in March K Manga created their own official sub-Reddit, r/KMANGAOfficial. Then in May, K Manga opened up their official text blog. This blog contains various interviews and is not restricted to the app, as some of their previous interviews were limited to.
To celebrate the launch of the new Discord, K Manga is having a 1000 point giveaway. 10 winners will be selected from posts in the giveaway channel in the Discord. The contest will run through July 14th on their Discord as well as their TikTok account.
If you want to join the K Manga Discord, we will have a link to join on our website for this news story. You can also join by clicking the Giveaway banner announcement found in the K Manga app and website.
