This is Aside Manga News for September 25th, 2026.
Last week, the digital manga publisher MangaPlaza has launched their official Discord server. Access to the server is currently available from their X and Instagram accounts. It is free to join and has several channels for discussing series available on the MangaPlaza platform. While there are titles available on MangaPlaza that are rated 18+, the code of conduct for the Discord server asks that all discussions are appropriate for all ages. In the future, they plan to have exclusive deals for their website available for members of the Discord.
Earlier this month, MangaPlaza announced that they reached having 1 million members on their service. A special 100% point reward campaign is on-going until the end of the month where members will receive a complete refund, in points, on the single highest value manga purchase they made in the month of September. The points will then be distributed at the end of October.
MangaPlaza joins other manga publishers and distributors who have opened up Discord servers this year. Both K Manga and Bookwalker had their official Discord servers launch earlier this year. All of these help provide additional avenues for fan discussion, feedback on their services, and the latest release news.
In addition to the Discord invite link being available on MangaPlaza’s X and Instagram accounts, we have also included it in our website article for easier access.
