This is Aside Manga News for October 26th, 2026.

Following the downtime on October 22nd, the Manga Plaza service has added a considerable amount of new titles to their service. Many of these titles have come over from the Manga Mirai service that is in the process of shutting down. As part of their shut down, users who had previously purchased titles on Manga Mirai can have their manga titles moved over to their account on Manga Plaza. If their title is not available on Manga Plaza, they may be able to receive a refund as they will no longer be able to access the title. Manga Mirai has now posted a full list of titles that can not be transferred to Manga Plaza on their website.

Manga Mirai had several exclusive titles that until last week have not be able to be purchased since their shutdown. The isekai spin-off City Hunter: From Today, City Hunter is now available again for reading. The first 16 volumes of the series are now available for digital purchase on Manga Plaza for $9.99 each, or 999 points. The on-going series is created by Sokura Nishiki, and is focused around the high schooler Kai Aoyama as she is transported into her favorite manga, City Hunter. The manga has 18 volumes released in Japan and new chapters are released monthly since it’s debut in 2017 in Monthly Comic Zenon. 110 chapters are currently published in Japan. It is currently unclear if the title will be available on other services in English or when further updates for the title will continue.
